Travelling in the USA and GB

Travelling is very popular in 20th century. People travel for many reasons: go to holidays, sights, business, political reasons or even and smuggling. People travel because it is exciting, they want to see new places, meet new people and friends and see another way of life. On the other hand travelling has some disadvantages: we can meet bad people, we can get lost, be murdered, our money may be stolen and for some people travelling is very expensive. We can travel by foot, by car, by plane, by train, by bus, by bike, by motorcycle or some romantic way of transport such as going on yacht, canoeing, gliding, hot-air ballooning, wind surfing, skateboarding, roller-skating. When we go abroad we need: passport, visa, changed money, tickets (to train or plane). We should know foreign languages like English or German. We can go abroad by travel agency to cultural or recreation stays. Travelling isn’t only going abroad but also sightseeing in our country or commuting to work or school. For travelling we use various luggage for example: knapsack, rucksack or suitcase
